Molasses Butterball Cookies1 cup butter, softened 1/4 cup molasses 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups walnuts, finely chopped 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In a bowl beat butter and molasses with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Add flour and beat until well blended. Stir in finely chopped walnuts. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove to a wire rack and cool. Roll in confectioners' sugar. Makes 24 cookies.
