Sand Tarts

1 cup butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 cups pecans, finely chopped
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
Confectioners' sugar

Cream butter until soft. Add sugar, pecans and flour, mixing well. Shape into balls or crescents and bake at 300 degrees F on ungreased baking sheets for 45 minutes.

While hot, roll balls or crescents in confectioners' sugar. Roll again after all have been rolled once.
