Carnation Butterscotch SauceSource: Carnation 2 cups packed brown sugar 1 cup undiluted carnation evaporated milk 3 tablespoons corn syrup 1/3 cup butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Combine sugar, evaporated milk and corn syrup in a 1-quart glass measure. Add butter. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH (100%) 1 minute; stir. Reduce power to MEDIUM (50%); microwave, uncovered 1 1/2 to 2 minutes longer or until heated through; stir once while cooking. (Do not boil.) Add vanilla extract. Yields about 2 1/2 cups.
