This is excellent on ribs or chicken.
2 tablespoons vegetable oil1 medium onion, chopped3 cans tomato sauce1 cup vinegar1/2 cup molasses or firmly packed brown sugar2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
Sauté onions in oil for about 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes. If it gets too thick, add a little water.
