1 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup prepared mustard 1/8 cup liquid smoke 1 cup tomato paste 1 tablespoon chili powder 1/2 cup sugar 3 cups stock 1/4 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Combine all and simmer 2 hours, being careful not to burn it. Stir often. Makes 1 quart.
