Verde Rice

1 pound Monterey jack cheese
1 pint sour cream
2 (3 ounce) cans chopped green chiles
3 cups cooked brown rice
1/4 pound Cheddar cheese

Combine first 4 ingredients. Top with Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes in buttered 8-inch square pan.

NOTE: Use a few chopped jalapeño peppers also for "spicy" taste.
