4 cups leaf lettuce3 tablespoons vegetable oil1/3 cup cider vinegar3 tablespoons bacon bits2 tablespoons granulated sugar1 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper
Tear lettuce into pieces. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
Pour hot mixture over lettuce in a bowl and toss to coat evenly. Makes 4 servings.
