Sonoran SeasoningThis is excellent on all grilled meats and vegetables. 1 tablespoon mild, ground red chile 6 tablespoonss plus 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 4 1/2 teaspoons black peppercorns 4 teaspoons cumin seed 4 teaspoons granulated garlic 1 tablespoon chamomile 1 tablespoon granulated onion 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika 3/4 teaspoon white peppercorns 1 star anise point 1/4 scant teaspoon dried orange rind 1/4 scant teaspoon dried orange blossoms Pinch of cinnamon Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Bake chile powder on small baking pan until beginning to darken, 5 to 7 minutes. Combine all ingredients in blender. Grind finely, about 1 minute.
