Creamy Chocolate Fudge

6 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Beat cheese until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and mix until well blended. Press into buttered 8-inch square pan. Chill 1 hour. Cut into squares.

Yields 1 1/2 pounds.
