Chevy's Fresh Mex Fuego Spice Mix

Source: Chef Mike Fuller, Chevy's Fresh Mex, Phoenix, Arizona

1/4 cup paprika
2 tablespoons cayenne
2 tablespoons salt
2 teaspoons ground white pepper
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons oregano

Combine ingredients; mix well. Store mixture in an airtight container that has been placed out of direct light for up to 6 months.

Use as a rub on steak, chicken or fish or as a seasoning for vegetables, popcorn or tortilla chips.
