No Bake Cherry Rum Balls2 1/2 pounds vanilla wafer crumbs 2 cups nuts, finely chopped 2 cups coconut 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1 cup dark sweet cherries, well drained and chopped 1 cup dark rum (or 1 1/2 tablespoons rum extract) 2 cups confectioners' sugar Thoroughly mix all of the ingredients, except the confectioners' sugar, together, blending well. Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in the confectioners' sugar.
